Starting in social psychology under who later became known as the biggest psychology fraud, they shifted their focus to meta-research. As a Mozilla Open Science Fellow and Shuttleworth Fellow they developed what would become ResearchEquals, to give researchers the tools to share all of the research process, not just the pretty results. In 2019, they founded Liberate Science GmbH to house the work and have been stewarding ResearchEquals since.
